No matter what walk of life you are currently cruising down, or how happy you may be with your current day to day dealings…everybody needs to let loose and blow off some proverbial steam once in a while. Now I'm told some do this by relaxing with a book, some by exercising until their muscles hurt, but here in Bali we have our own little way of reliving stress at the end of a long day. It involves…motorcycles, an empty beach and a group of guys who know what their doing is reckless, but don't really have it in them to care. With all the organizing and running around in preparation for the swapmeet tomorrow, Sunday the 14th of November, we thought it would only be fair to have some fun and relieve some stress before the big day. So a plan was devised, bikes were fueled up and we headed for the coast…not too hard when you can see the ocean from the office. After bypassing a fence, dodging some livestock and arriving at our sand playground, we proceeded to participate in childish tomfoolery and impromptu 'who can go sideways' competitions. Its amazing how much fun you can have with some motorcycles and an empty beach. After about an hour, with one wounded machine, our sand course decimated and the sun setting behind our rooster tails we took a quick dip in the ocean before heading back to the Temple as relaxed as could be.
