Deus Derrick The owner's dreams begins when he found an old Bmw R80/7 from the German Police, even before defining the project he already gives birth to its name to be "Derrick" inspired by the German detective Tv Series "Derrick" broadcasted worldwide from 1974 to 1998. The goal was to create a bike with neat lines, stripping it of all the unnecessary and giving space to the "milk and mint" colour used also on the frame. On the "Derrick" everything has been overhauled and many parts had been tailor made, as the mount and buttons for the technologic motogadget speedometer (it's operated from a mini-button located in the steering neck), start button, miniaturized light switches and "old Style" levers complete the look of the chromed front end. The bike is characterized from many small details like the coloured spark wires, the billet gas tank cap, the chamoix leather seat, the bar end turn signals and all the aluminium braces hugging the frame. The final touches were all about this prepared engine, to let breathe with fresh air the big Bing carburetors we prefferred to completely remove the airbox and use single cone filters, for the pleasure of a low throaty exhaust's note, almost police-esque...
Deus Derrick il sogno del proprietario inizia quando trova una vecchia Bmw R80/7 utilizzata dalla polizia tedesca, ancor prima di definire la trasformazione ne partorisce il nome " Derrick " ispirato alla serie poliziesca di maggior successo della tv tedesca L'ispettore Derrick  trasmessa in tutto il mondo dal 1974 al 1998. L'obiettivo era creare una moto dalle linee pulite, eliminando tutto il superfluo e lasciando ampio spazio al colore "latte e menta" che è stato utilizzato anche per il telaio.
Sulla Derrick tutto è stato rimesso a nuovo e molti pezzi sono stati realizzati ad hoc, come il supporto e il comando per il piccolo e tecnologico strumento Motogadget (la gestione avviene attraverso un mini tasto inserito all'interno del canotto dello sterzo), avviamento a pulsante, comandi luci miniaturizzati e le leve freno e frizione old style completano il cromato avantreno. La moto è caratterizzata da molti piccoli dettagli come i cavi colorati, il tappo benzina ricavato dal pieno, la sella scamosciata, le frecce al manubrio e le fascette in alluminio old style che abbracciano tutto il telaio. Gli ultimi ritocchi riguardano il motore preparato, per alimentare di aria fresca i grossi carburatori Bing si è preferito togliere l'airbox e utilizzare filtri singoli a cono, per il piacere di un rumore pieno e cupo, quasi poliziesco..
