The “Deus Teneré” built on a brand new Yamaha Teneré is modelled after the early ‘80s Dakar bike concepts, with flowing lines and a large fuel tank.
The bike was launched during this years Wheels & Waves Deus Swank Rally in Magescq (FR) and was broken in by our good friend and four time Le Touquet winner Jean-Claude Moussé, who worked magic on the beast.
We started by equipping the bike with a rally kit including a top protection radiator, chain guide and protection, Yamaha motor guard and tool box, and Acerbis hand guards. The suspension was tuned for a real rally: Andreani front suspension (+30MM) and Ohlins on the back. Control part with support and roadbook and two road trips. A stack of work went into the design, working alongside Camal Studio with 3D realising fairing, tank cover, seat and back fender fitting into the one piece. The result is a full body of fiberglass which may become a kit on request.
Metzeler Karoo Extreme tires perfectly fitted the Swank W&W race with a mix of soft sand and motocross trails. The exhaust has been replaced with a unique custom made SC project in titanium; it is significantly lighter than the original which brings a soft racing sound.

La “Deus Teneré” costruita sulla Nuova Yamaha Teneré ha l’ambizioso obiettivo di trasformare il concetto delle moto della Dakar anni 80 in linee dinamiche e fluenti con l’accento sul faro anteriore e il largo serbatoio.
La moto è stata presentata durante la “proibita” edizione dello Swank Rally al Wheels & Waves a Magescq (FR) e guidata dal nostro amico - vincitore di quattro Le Touquet - Jean-Claude Moussé che ha fatto magie con la bestia.
Il primo lavoro è stato equipaggiare la moto con un kit rally che include protezioni al radiatore, giuda catena e protezione, paramotore e porta attrezzi Yamaha e paramani Acerbis. Sospensioni anteriori con cartucce Andreani (+30MM) e Ohlins posteriore. La parte di controllo include roadbook e due road trip. Un lavoro complesso è stato fatto insieme allo Studio Camal per industrializzare il design attraverso la stampa 3D di faro, copertura serbatoio e di un unico pezzo che incorpora la sella, parafango posteriore e fiancatine. Il risultato è un corpo completo in fibra che può diventare un kit su richiesta. I pneumatici Metzeler Karoo Extreme hanno calzato perfettamente per lo Swank Rally Wheels & Waves: un misto di sabbia soffice e campo di motocross.
Lo scarico è stato sostituito con un SC custom made in esemplate unico in titanio; risulta sensibilmente più leggero dell’originale, ed ha un piacevole timbro racing.
