Making the most of Jimmy’s inside knowledge, we hit up a sweet concrete mini-ramp tucked away in a local kos. It was a mad place to skate, slap-bang in the middle of someone’s house, but that just added to the fun. We swept off the stones, sessioned it in the blistering heat, and soon we had an audience gathering around. Reno kept the watchers entertained with his repertoire of smooth moves, but it isn’t just his skating that can draw a crowd. Back at the Temple we sunk a few cold ones, and Reno took to the stage to jam with his band. Being ‘Taco and Tattoo Tuesday,’ it all seemed to go hand in hand, skate, beer, and music just another day at the office.
