Another great night down at the Deus Temple in Canggu came and went the other night with the opening of Stewart Smythe’s first solo exhibition “The Electric Lala Land Art Exhibition.” The New Zealand native and long time Sydney resident, has been hard at work the past month producing a massive amount of work anointed with pithy wordplay and bold graphics. Our two mad professors of motion mementos, David and Andre were on hand to make sure that good times aren’t forgotten, moreover shared with the brethren that couldn’t be there. Our movie making men tend to whiz about a lot and while sometimes we’re not entirely sure what they do, they must have, because once again they have delivered up one of these subtle soliloquies of our life on the Island of the Gods, Bali and of times well spent. Enjoy!
